If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to the respective teacher/s. Per Illinois Law, Public School Districts must conduct an Intruder Lockdown Drill within the first 90 days of school. Zeigler-Royalton CUSD 188 will be conducting our "Safety (Lockdown) Drill" on Friday, September 6, 2024. This drill will be conducted in collaboration with the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. With parents’ authorization, the students may participate in Alternative Threat Training rather than physically participating in the drill. If you are interested in “opting out” your child for the physical portion of the drill please call your child's school for additional information on the steps that are required. Students are still required to complete alternative training.
If you are receiving a Low Lunch Balance Notification from Teacherease it is a setting in your app. Here are the steps to turn it off.
Go to Parent Main > Miscellaneous > Communication Preferences
Check the Low Lunch Balance notifications
Change the Low Balance Threshold to 0.00, or disable it completely

K-8 Building : Picture day is Tuesday, August 13th. All students pictures will be taken for the yearbook. Softball and Baseball individual and team photos will also be taken.

This Friday (December 1, 2023) will be a 12:30 PM dismissal for all ZR CUSD 188 students. This is for the High School Homecoming Parade. Parade times are as follows: (Zeigler @ approx 1:15) and (Royalton @ approx 1:45). We hope to see you all there!
K-8 building: Weather information reminder - Students do go outside for recess in cold weather, as long as it is 32* . Please make sure your student has the appropriate clothing for going outside ( hat, gloves, coat, etc). Please mark items with their name so if they drop something it can get back to them. There is a lost and found and if your student has lost or does lose something you can come out and look through the items to find them. Thank You
